Application Programming Interface
XData provides a programming interface to easily integrate solutions to any application that needs them. The Application Programming Interface (API) is used to retrieve market data from available financial exchanges in different standard formats.
All APIs can be delivered through many ways:
- Leased Line
- Virtual Public Network (VPN)
- Internet Connection using Public IP Address
SAFE API
Store and Forward Engine (SAFE) API provides streaming market data to applications in the original, raw format. This API is designed for application developers where raw messages are required for custom analysis and further processing.
Parsed XML API
Parsed XML API provides market data to client (receiving) applications in Extensible Markup Language (XML) format. The XML format can be different depending on the source of the financial exchange. This API is designed for application developers who want to preserve the raw messages and at the same time, make the development easier by using more readable format and descriptive codes.
Custom API
Some applications require different features, functionalities and data formats to achieve their purpose. XData APIs are designed in such a way that they can be easily customized and extended so that different requirements can be supported.
All APIs will run on Windows operating system only.
Web Ticker
XData provides Web ticker solutions that can be attached to any web site and can be customized according to customer-specific requirements.
TV Ticker
Further to XData’s ticker services, XData offers TV ticker solutions that can be integrated in Televisions. The TV ticker stores the market data in a plain text file that can be readily retrieved by any software used to interface in the Television display.
